Under the chairmanship of Mr. Vassogbo Bamba, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Budget, a group of international institutional investors was received on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the SCIAM Building in Plateau. The delegation was led by Mr. Samir Gadio, Managing Director and Head of Africa Strategy at Standard Chartered Bank.

During the meeting, Mr. Doneci Koné, Deputy Director General of the General Directorate of Financing (DGF), presented the latest macroeconomic, financial, and political developments in Côte d’Ivoire. He also highlighted the significant progress achieved by the country in fiscal consolidation. Discussions subsequently focused on the outlook for the government's financing strategy, providing investors with a clearer understanding of the challenges and opportunities ahead.

This visit is fully aligned with the Government of Côte d’Ivoire’s commitment to maintaining an active dialogue with its various financial partners and underscores the importance of continuing to strengthen and develop the Republic’s investor relations framework.
