The Support Project for Strengthening Oversight Institutions in Côte d’Ivoire (PACC), financed by the European Union and launched in February 2021, officially concluded on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
The closing ceremony was chaired by the Minister of Finance and Budget, Adama Coulibaly, in the presence of the European Union Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire, H.E. Francesca Di Mauro, representatives of the Senate and the National Assembly, as well as Mr. Alexandre Foulon, Director General of Expertise France (a subsidiary of the French Development Agency – AFD).
The project forms part of the broader reform agenda for Côte d’Ivoire’s public financial management system, aimed at strengthening internal and external oversight mechanisms and enhancing internal audit functions within budget execution procedures.
It has also contributed to reinforcing the national framework for combating corruption and promoting greater transparency, accountability, and efficiency in public financial governance.
